Donate to Students for Justice in Palestine at the University of Minnesota!
Who are we?
We are a group of students, faculty, and community members at the University of Minnesota that are passionate about justice! We stand in solidarity with the struggle of the indigenous Palestinian people against apartheid and occupation. We organize frequent educational events that give a voice to the Palestinian narrative as well as highlight the plight of the Palestinian people under Israeli aggression, in addition to organizing protests, memorials, and other events that visualize the Palestinian struggle.
SJP is lead by committed students that volunteer their time, effort, and skills to the Palestinian cause. Our funds are very limited and we heavily rely on donations by fellow justice seekers. By donating, you allow us to focus more of our time and resources towards reaching our mission.
What do we do with the donations?
All of our funds are allocated towards organizing on campus. We use the money to put on educational events, actions, and displays on campus. This includes honorariums for guest speakers, venues, refreshments at events, and materials for displays.
What are somethings that were funded by donations in the past?
In the past 3 years, we have relied completely on fundraisers and donations which have allowed us to do the following: host general body meetings, teach-ins, cultural events, lawyers, political analysts, authors, send students to national conferences, and make a mock apartheid wall! Check out some pictures of our events on Facebook!
